Dragon Age: The Next Generation, un mod concepito in grande, con le caratteristiche di modificare la campagna principale ed aggiungerne una propria ex novo, ambientata 100 anni dopo che Duncan e la nostra impavida compagnia riuscì ad impedire il Flagello con l’avanzata dell’Arcidemone e la sua Prole Oscura.

Ma non è tutto: in programma ci sono nuove classi e razze ognuna avente proprie specializzazioni come il Chierico, il Druido, il Ranger e il Monaco ed essere un Elfo Oscuro un Mezzelfo un Mezzogigante e…più avanti si sapranno ancora nuove features.

The Sims 3: Possible Solutions for the CRC Error

‘Cyclic Redundancy Error’ is usually caused by a registry issue can usually be fixed with a registry scan. But just in case you can always try these solutions.

1. You will want to attempt a hard drive installation of the game. In this process, you copy the game files to the Desktop, so that the disk, although necessary for running the game, is not necessary for installation.

1. Right-click the Desktop, select New, and select Folder.

2. Insert the Install Disk into the drive.

3. Exit any autoplay screen that may appear.

4. Open My Computer.

5. Right-click the CD-ROM drive containing the Install Disk and select Open.

6. Click Edit at the top of the window.

7. Click Select All.

8. Click Edit again.

9. Click Copy.

10. Close the window.

11. Right-click the New Folder on your desktop and select Paste. (The game files will now copy.)

12. Once the files from the Install Disk are copied proceed to step 13.

13. Upon completion, remove all disks from any drives.

14. Double-click the Setup folder.

15. Double-click on the Sims3Setup.exe icon, looks like two silver arrows and a half-cirle on a blue background. (The installation should now begin.)

2. If you got Sims 3 CRC Error then there is a 94% chance that your computer has registry problems. To repair Sims 3 CRC error you need to follow the steps below:

1. Download a Perfect Optimizer,install this error repair tool.
2. Click the Repair All Button.It will scan you pc for Free.
3. Then click the Repair All Button again and your done! It is very easy to repair sims 3 crc error.

3. Download EA download manager [EADM], create an account on there, then you get your serial key for the game, type it in EA download manager and it will download the game and install.  A CRC error is the DVD Drive not being able to read the disc properly. It downloads pretty quick. and anyone else who is having this problem this is the way around. All you need to do is have an EA account set up, then there is a tab that says activation, this is where the serial key goes, and its that simple.

4. Run the Windows Defragmenter software on your system. Fragmented hard disk space can cause this error.

CRC errors may also be caused by a hard disk or DVD drive failing or being unable to write consistent data.

If you have run the Defragmenter software and are continuing to experience this error, please contact your system’s manufacturer for further diagnostics.

It appears that in some cases, users that are using the EA download Manager version of The Sims 3 may experience this error if their download is paused. To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:

1. Log in to the EADM.
2. Click on the red x in the upper right part of the Sims 3 download to clear the EADM cache.
3. Re-download The Sims 3; do not pause the download.

Also, if you need older patches for the game because the new one you installed [v1.7/2.2] made your game worse which resulted you uninstalling then reinstalling the game. You can download the older patches here separately.

Most Random Dubstep Mixes Which Still Sound Great

So I often think what is the most random track that someone will try and make a dubstep remix out of. Best way to find the answer is to have a little youtube search. I think I have found some of the most random, which shouldn’t good but they just do. First of all its actually a track from Jakwob and he had done the tune from the Natwest advert in a dubstep style and it sounds absolutely wicked. You have simply got to listen to it, bass drops and it sounds like it belongs right there.

Next is the Boson dubstep remix of Ginuwine and “Pony”. This is a classic from way back in the mid 90’s. Even then it actually had a wicked bassline and was a wicked tune. But deep, dark bass under this track has taken it to another level and reminds me of the Rusko track “Da Cali Anthem” if you like that track, this is the same sort of vibe.

I have left the best and undoubtedly the most random track for last. It the Hereldeduke dubstep remix of “The Snowman” and I think it sounds amazing and should get all the dubsteppers in the Christmas Mood. It shouldn’t work, but the track and deep rolling bass just seem to go well together. Check it Out.

Ski Challenge: Über 185.000 Downloads

Gemma-gemma-gemma … es geht lo-hos! Das geduldige Warten und Üben hat ein Ende. Die sechste ORF Ski Challenge steht kurz bevor… nur noch ein paar Stunden sind es bis der offizielle Download freigeben ist. Exakt am 24.11.2009 – 8.00 Uhr Ortszeit darf offiziell der Download der SC:10 angeboten werden.

Alle Welt geht davon aus, dass die diesjährige Ski Challenge die vorhergehende übertreffen wird.

Nun, woran mag man das festmachen? Ich hab´s

Zum Beispiel an der Zahl der Downloads gegenüber der SC:09 >> 185.948 Mal wurde das kostenlose Spiel Ski Challenge 2009 V.1 über den Download-Channel von CHIP.de heruntergeladen. 95 % aller CHIP-User bewerten das Spiel positiv das sich trotz seines einmaligen Saisons-Hoch das ganze Jahr über tapfer auf Rang 18 der Download-Charts gehalten hat.

Jetzt ist es umso interessanter, wo sich denn der Download der SC:10 im Vergleich dazu in den Charts platzieren und manifestieren wird. Erfahrungsgemäß gibt es in den ersten Tagen einen regelrechten Download-Hype. Ich bin gespannt, wie viel mehr sich in diesem Jahr an der Pistenhatz beteiligen werden. Allein in Deutschland gibt es mit der MAC-Unterstützung sowie für Windows XP, Vista und natürlich Windows 7 eine breite OS-Unterstützung. Dazu kommen die Werbe-Partner-Editionen, Länder-Wettbewerbe, Nationencup und nicht zuletzt auch noch einmal eine weitere Länder-Edition gegenüber dem Vorjahr hinzu.

Ski heil … es kann nur größer, spannender, populärer werden. Am Ende der Saison liefere ich euch neben den publizierten Medienwerten den Vergleich in unbestechlicher CHIP-Währung.

Fame Not Fortune?

I was just listening to Radio 4 this lunchtime (which isn’t something I do regularly) and they were discussing fake ticket agencies which take your money but never send you tickets for the concert. The presenter said something along the lines of “the live music industry has expanded greatly over the last few years as they have discovered a growing amount of people who want to experience a live event rather than just listen to an act on CD”.

I don’t think this is true, the reason why there are so many long tours at large venues these days is simply because this is the only place where artists and record companies can actually make a lot of money. Why is this? The answer is probably a combination of two reasons – firstly many people download music now which they either pay a small amount for or they may do it illegally and don’t pay anything, and secondly because the price of CDs is so low.

Now I realise that it is a bit strange to be complaining that the price of something is too low but how are artists supposed to make a living when the few people who actually pay for a CD these days only pay around £8? I’m sure the record companies still take as large a cut as they ever did which will leave practically nothing for the artist. Twenty years ago I remember having to pay up to £16 for a new CD, this was a small fortune back then and thankfully prices started to fall but they have fallen to such an extent that the only way to make money in the music industry now is to go on a large tour, get sponsorship for that tour, sell all your tickets and get as many product endorsement deals as you can. Obviously the only bands to whom this is applicable are very successful bands, up and coming bands just have to get shafted by their record company and hope for the best.

Of course you could say that bands should play their music just for the enjoyment of sharing their songs with people and if money comes their way then all the better. My rating: 7/10

Mostly it’s not a new song again. For the truth it would called a compilation album. Though it has a medium number of tracks I think BoA didn’t prepare so many songs for this.  I like MILKY WAY (club remix) the most, it still catch a cute voice of BoA and the beat is beating sweetly. It grown very well. By so far, the album is quite save her. Not so bad but not so amazing. Standard, that’s I can say.

A nova versão do Messenger, que era esperada por muitos em download “separado” e não dentro de um pacote com outros softwares, trouxe mudanças inesperadas. A mais visível é a interface.

Você conseguirá perceber mudanças distintas no cabeçalho, onde é possível definir uma “cena” diferente. As cenas são apenas uma imagem diferente para o cabeçalho. As imagens selecionadas nesse local, também farão parte do cabeçalho da janela de conversação.

Outro ponto que mudou foi ícone de disponibilidade do contato. Em vez do bonequinho clássico do MSN, agora você verá um quadrado com as cores verde (online), laranja (ausente), vermelho (ocupado) e cinza (offline).

Além disso os contatos poderão ser agrupados em locais como “favoritos”. Esse local, que já vem como padrão quando você baixa o MSN, serve para armazenar os contatos que você mais conversa.

Não chega a ser extremamente útil, pois é possível criar um grupo com essa nomenclatura desde as versões anteriores do MSN.

Para finalizar, o modo de compartilhar imagens mudou drasticamente. Agora, ao compartilhar as imagens, você poderá vê-las numa espécie de slideshow dentro da janela de conversação. Assim, você poderá visualizar as imagens sem precisar baixá-las para o computador.

* Os sons de alerta, como a chegada de novas mensagens ou contatos online, podem ser completamente personalizados. O software permite que você envie qualquer arquivo no formato MP3, WMA ou WMA e utilize como padrão sonoro. Para facilitar, o próprio MSN introduz uma ferramenta para editar e selecionar a parte do som que for mais agradável para você;

Am Montag hatte ich geschrieben, dass ich derzeit an einem größeren Projekt arbeite. Dabei handelt es sich um eine Mischung aus Gothic- und Techno-Musik. Am vergangenen Sonntag war ich mit Freunden unterwegs um ein Musikvideo zu dem Lied zu drehen. Wenn ich die Zeit finde und das entstandene Material nicht zu schlecht ist, werde ich das Musikvideo dieses Wochenende mal schneiden und dann natürlich auch hier reinstellen. Tips'nTricks: CheckGmail e l'errore 401

Qualche giorno fa stavo pensando tra me e me che per guardare se mi arriva un’email sul mio indirizzo Gmail e’ un po’ scomodo ogni volta dover accedere a Gmail. Mi sono dunque accorto che non avevo ancora un notificatore per Gmail sul mio desktop. Mancanza grave di questi tempi a quanto pare (nonostante si possa benissimo farne a meno).

Comunque ho deciso di installarne uno, ho optato per CheckGmail:
# apt-get install checkgmail

Poi ho impostato la varie opzioni e l’ho subito messo all’opera, ma lui per tutta risposta mi ha scritto:

401 Unauthorized

Ho cercato un po’ in giro per la rete e come soluzione davano questa:
$ checkgmail -update
che aggiorna il file checkgmail,

oppure quest’altra:
$ checkgmail -no_cookies
che avvia il programma con l’opzione no_cookies.

Sono soluzioni che non mi piacciono molto, allora ho cercato un po’ sul sito del programma e ho deciso di fare cosi’. Mi sono scaricato tutti i file e le directory necessarie in una directory:
$ svn co https://checkgmail.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/checkgmail checkgmail
poi mi sono spostato dentro quella directory:
$ cd checkgmail
e ho copiato il file eseguibile checkgmail nella directory /usr/bin/:
# sudo cp checkgmail /usr/bin/

Adesso funziona alla perfezione.

the mix is called ‘you’re the one’. i named it after one of my favorite tracks of all times by d-train – ‘you’re the one for me’ which is included on the mix towards the end.

actually i was trying to bring some favorite tunes of mine together from the present and the past ranging from disco to house. so the first track (after the organ intro) by jackson jones from 1980 and slides into a track by rainer trüby from 2009.

besides these 2 tracks and d-train you’ll find tunes by pal joey (who really is one of my heroes), some timeless nu groove records, sounds by rheji burrell as utopia project, some classic westend sounds like shirley lites. also some sharon redd, visual or colonel abrams besides some present funky tunes by 6th borough project, motor city drum ensemble and norma jean bell.

Sună a fi un simplu drum, însă regula celor din MS e “odată intrat, nu mai poţi să ieşi“, iar trecerea graniţei ca şi imigrant ilegal nu e deloc uşoară.

As vezes eu penso em mudar o nome desse blog, mudar pra algo relacionado a vícios ou paixões. Isso porque eu me apaixono duas vezes por semana, por pessoas, filmes, seriados, músicas, comidas…

Essa semana eu definitivamente me apaixonei por Glee. Tinha até visto nos TT do Twitter, mas quis fazer a esnobe e não fui fuxicar… Fato é que um querido amigo me passou o link de uma comunidade DE OURO no Orkut, que tem um monte de seriado em RMVB, e eu dei de cara com o tópico Glee. Baixei o primeiro.. e pr abaixar os outros 7 em menos de 3 dias… foi um suspiro.

O seriado é incrível, é meio High School Musical… mas com bom gosto musical. E com um apelo mais “loser”. Tem todos aqueles tipos esperados em clichês americanos, mas de uma forma tão bacana.. que eu me apaixonei, TENHO CARINHO pela série agora.

Tem todo o tipo de personagem que me cativa: a sofrida, a piranha, a gorda, o gay, o cafageste e o gatinho, melhor ainda, o gatinho sofrido.

Notem o PODER da voz deles, e agora me diz com sicneridade se é justo comparar com HSM!

Bom, para a felicidade de quem está curioso, o seriado estréia na Fox dia 04/11( digo estréia porque o episódio piloto foi ao ar dia 13/09).  Não sei exatamente o horário, mas a Fox deve bombar de propaganda! Fiquem de olho!

Quanto a mim, fico esperando dia 11/11 sair o nono episódio na gringa, pra só depois ter a versão pra baixar, sofro de curiosidade. Mas eu aguento!
